Kimberlie is our founder and owner, with over 34 years of experience in the financial industry. In 2009, she left the corporate world to open SFS and grow her business in a way that felt organic for her and our clients. Her passion for helping people achieve their financial goals is evident in our firm's mission, and she provides experienced guidance and support while navigating the complexities of managing your finances. One of her greatest joys is when she can encourage people to treat themselves with their hard-earned money-something our clients have lovingly referred to as "Kimberlie Dollars".

She enjoys traveling and checking countries off her bucket list. You can also find her cooking anything by Ina Garten and hosting friends and family.

Alex grew up watching both of her parents work in the financial industry and learned early on the importance of financial independence. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from San Diego State University and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, which is recognized as the highest standard of excellence for the financial planning profession. Prior to working in finance, she was pursuing a career in occupational therapy. While she ultimately didn't continue in that field, she desired a career where she could still have a positive impact in helping people achieve independence in their life.

In her free time she enjoys checking out local breweries, cooking up a new recipe, and taking Harley out for adventures.

Harley has been a part of the SFS team since 2022. She was found roaming the streets of El Centro by a kind stranger, who took her to The Barking Lot rescue in Ramona, where Alex found her. She likes to think she is the office security guard, but will often fall asleep on the job if there is sun coming through the windows.  She enjoys belly rubs, afternoon walks around the neighborhood, and rummaging through trash cans for snacks.
